Miami, Florida

Miami is one of the world’s most popular vacation spots with year-round mild climates and unrivaled Atlantic ocean access. Its Cuban influence is reflected in the cafes and cigar shops that line the famous Calle Ocho in Little Havana. Miami is also home to South Beach, a glamorous neighborhood famed for its colorful art deco buildings, white sand, surfside hotels, and trendsetting nightlife.

Wynwood Walls Art Tour

The Wynwood Walls is the epicenter of the Wynwood Art District. It is a collection of curated murals by artists from around the world on the walls of former warehouses which form a series of courtyards. During this 1-hour walking tour, you will listen to the story of how Wynwood rose from a neglected urban zone to Art District and learn about the artists behind the beautiful and infamous murals.

Conceived in 2009 by the renowned community revitalizer and peacemaker, Tony Goldman, the Wynwood Walls has bought the world’s greatest artists working in the graffiti and street art genre to Miami. Goldman was looking for something big to transform the warehouse district of Wynwood. Noticing the large stock of warehouse buildings without windows, he arrived to the simple idea of turning these blank canvases into the greatest street art ever seen in one place. Since its inception, the Wynwood Walls program has seen over 50 artists representing 16 countries and have covered over 80,000 square feet of walls.
